Bill Murray gets legal threat from Doobie Brothers’ attorney over golf shirt ads

Bill Murray is taking some heat from the Doobie Brothers.

Murray’s golf apparel company William Murray Golf has allegedly been using the rock group’s song “Listen to the Music” to advertise shirts without paying proper licensing fees, the Doobie Brothers‘ attorney claims. The band’s attorney Peter Paterno sent to Murray in which Paterno addresses the use of the music. Paterno alleged that Murray has been using unlicensed music from other clients represented by his firm as well.
